Personalised Suspension Set-Up
All motorcycles come out of the factory with basic suspension settings. They are built with an average setting for the average rider in mind. You are not average, and considering the investment of this purchase, you deserve to have your suspension tuned to suit YOU! Bikes and their suspension are mass-produced, and manufacturing tolerances vary immensely, causing each bike to react and perform very differently.
Having your motorcycle suspension set up to your weight and application by an expert will significantly improve your bike’s handling, traction, and balance, giving you a much safer controlled ride.
On arrival, I will:
Check your bike for general wear and tear that may affect the handling.
Measure and check all preload and damping settings.
Provide a list of all my findings before making any changes to your motorcycle and explain the changes required.
I will get the very best out of your bike with the suspension you have fitted, and I can advise of upgrades and services that would further improve your ride.

Fork Service
Your forks will be checked for external wear or damage, then completely stripped. Every component will be cleaned thoroughly and checked for defaults. Fork stanchions will be checked to ensure the run out is within manufactures tolerance and examined for imperfections (pitting) in the chrome. I will then reassemble your forks using the highest quality products and oils.

Pressurised Fork Service
Your forks will be checked for external wear or damage, then completely stripped. Every component will be cleaned thoroughly and checked for defaults. Fork stanchions will be checked to ensure the run out is within manufactures tolerance and examined for imperfections (pitting) in the chrome. The cartridge assy’s will be rebuilt and pressurised, and then forks will be reassembled using the highest quality products and oils.

Fork Fluid and Seal Change
Your forks will be checked for external wear or damage and cleaned. Fork stanchions will be examined for imperfections (pitting) in the chrome. Forks will be drained and flushed, seals replaced and reassembled using the highest quality seals and oils.

Shock Service
Your shock preload, length and nitrogen pressure will be listed. The shocks will be checked for external wear or damage then completely stripped. Every component will be cleaned thoroughly and checked for defaults or wear and replaced if necessary. Then your shocks will be reassembled using the highest quality products and oils. Finally, the shocks will be filled with oil using my Andreani vacuum pump, and recharged with nitrogen gas.

Re-Valve
Your suspension has a stack of shims on either side of a piston. The shim stacks control the oil flow through the pistons, creating compression “downward force” and rebound “return force” damping.
The damping can be altered to suit different riding styles and applications by changing the thickness, diameter or number of shims. I can upgrade the control of your damping and performance of your suspension with quality replacement piston or full cartridge kits.

Ohlins and Bitubo steering dampers are stripped, cleaned and reassembled using new genuine parts.

Race Team Workshop and Track-Side Support
Perry can offer a single day, on track, to adjust and set up your bike for you to gain faster and more controlled lap times. Only southern area tracks for one day sessions.
Perry can also offer a bespoke season long race package to work with your race team,
from 1 to 3 riders. Offering a hands-on personalised suspension service to suit your needs.
With experience that comes from a racing career that spans Motocross, Enduro, SuperMoto and Road Racing, combined with 3 decades of suspension expertise.

- Worked with T3 Triumph for 4 years with the Triumph Triple Challenge at British Superbikes; building suspension and setting the bikes up for each rider and adjusting to suite different race circuits.

IN YOUR WORKSHOP OR GARAGE!
Perry can come to you to work on your motorcycle on site in your private workshop or garage*. This suspension service is ideal for customers who cannot take the time out to travel for a personalised set up, and is available for road, off-road, track or race motorcycles.
*Subject to availability, and your workshop capacity and facilities.
